FIRST OFFICIAL MILO APP NOW AVAILABLE AS A FREE DOWNLOAD FOR FANS OF THE SHOW

The very first official app for Milo, the successful award-winning pre-school series co-produced by DeAPlaneta Entertainment and Fourth Wall, is now available as a free download on Google Play and App Store. This educational gaming app for the whole family is available worldwide for international Milo fans to enjoy in five languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. In addition, the German version will be launching shortly to coincide with the release of Milo on Super RTL in March 2024.

Designed for family audiences, particularly children ages  3-6, the Milo app is an exciting educational adventure that allows fans of the show to explore the world of a charismatic cat called Milo, and acquire knowledge as they engage in play. Created to broaden and enrich the experience for Milo’s fanbase spanning all age groups, the app is an educational tool that promotes both learning and fun in a safe environment for children.

Available as a zero-cost and ad-free download, the app introduces users to 4 mini-games and a daily adventure with Milo. Some of the mini-games and materials available through the app include “Choose Your Profession,” where users can learn about four exciting jobs (Explorer Milo, Journalist Milo, Chef Milo and Farmer Milo) and “Milo’s Daily Adventure in Milotown,” where players can meet their favourite characters from the show and help them accomplish daily missions. A wide variety of drawings, crafts and downloadable activities are available in four languages on the app (Spanish, English, French Italian and Portuguese)  for kids of all ages to unleash their imagination and explore their creativity.

Newcomers to the show and its characters will be greeted by the star of the series, Milo, with open arms. The app will also include a multimedia option that connects users to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok where they can delve into more series content and discover a list of channels broadcasting the show. The app’s parental control settings will allow parents to enable access to new sections of the game.

The app includes downloadable content featuring activities covering a variety of topics. From colouring activities to a who’s who game, and even arts and crafts like making an amigurimi Milo toy, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy. Furthermore, additional content is added constantly, with new games and exclusive content for users to enjoy.

Available on iOS and Google Play, the official Milo app aligns with the values and goals of the award-winning preschool animation series, including respecting the environment and advocating for inclusivity and social diversity. Milo recently demonstrated its commitment to these values by streaming eight episodes in sign language on Italian VOD platform TIM Vision. The episodes also included audio-description, allowing children who are blind, deaf or hard of hearing to enjoy the show.

Season two of the successful award-winning pre-school animated show premiered recently in the UK and season one of Milo is now available in more than 170 countries and more than 20 languages. Named Best Children’s Show at the prestigious British Animation Awards 2022, Milo uses the wonderful world of vocations to introduce pre-schoolers to a variety of professions in a positive and entertaining way. The underlying message is that all jobs are AMAZING.

Milo is produced by Fourth Wall and DeAPlaneta Entertainment, an industry-leading European entertainment company. The production was backed by the UK government-funded Young Audiences Content Fund, managed by the BFI, which fosters the development of distinctive, high-quality content for young audiences. The fund is intended to create content that informs our understanding of the world and stimulates knowledge and learning, while representing diversity and alternative viewpoints. This year, Milo is one of the finalists in the Best International Animated Series category at 2024 British Animation Awards, which will take place on March 7 at London’s BFI Southbank.
