MILO EXPANDS HIS UNIVERSE IN 2027 WITH NEW SURPRISES FOR THE PREMIERE OF ITS THIRD SEASON

Milo is entering a new phase of growth. DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s hit preschool franchise will premiere its third season in 2027, with 52 new episodes that will expand its universe with new professions, characters and songs, and a revamped narrative approach.

Alongside Milo and his inseparable friends Lofty and Lark, the new season will introduce Twilo, Milo’s little sister, whose spontaneous and mischievous personality will bring a new energy to the gang’s adventures. LZ Bones, an extremely lazy preteen, will also join the main cast, always looking for the easiest way to solve any situation. With LZ Bones around, every adventure is sure to become an even more fun challenge.

The third season of Milo brings together a standout creative team, with Sascha Paladino leading development and Sam Barlow and Lisa Akhurst writing the scripts, and Gustavo Branger and Global Music Branding in charge of music production. Together, the team maintains the essence that has made Milo a hit with audiences around the world, inviting young children to discover the world of careers through play, curiosity, and imagination, while placing greater emphasis on visual humor and music. The latter will play a key role in the new adventures, woven throughout the storytelling across all 52 episodes as Milo, Lofty, and Lark discover professions as diverse as electrician, sailor, food critic, and interior designer.

Carlos Biern, Content and Media Sales Director at DeAPlaneta Kids & Family, highlights Milo’s evolution: “If the first season represented discovery and the second, consolidation, the third season marks a new stage in Milo’s journey, as his character, family, and friends continue to grow within the world of Milotown. Fans of the series will not only discover new professions, but also meet new characters they can relate to even more, all brought to life through a strong musical component that reinforces the bright, fun, and highly positive spirit of our brand.”

Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, Chief Brand Officer at DeAPlaneta Entertainment, highlights the long-term vision behind this new phase of the franchise: “Bringing SETT and Amuse on board has allowed us to put a very ambitious, long-term plan in place for Milo, looking more than five years ahead. We already have a clear roadmap for taking the brand to new international markets, with four new seasons, two feature films, and a video game developed in partnership with an international publisher. And that next chapter starts in 2027, with the launch of the third season and the video game. Our ambition is to turn Milo into a truly global franchise, with the strength and potential to grow for many years to come.”

After unveiling a first preview at Milano Licensing Day, the DeAPlaneta Entertainment team will bring the latest updates on the third season of Milo to several key international markets. At Brand Licensing Europe, the company will hold the pitch “The Journey to a Global Brand” on October 7 (1:30 p.m. at the Networking Hub). At MIPCOM/MIPJunior, visitors to the DeAPlaneta Entertainment booth (R7.D19) will get their first chance to see Twilo in action. Meanwhile, at Toy Previews LA, Rainbow Designs will unveil the new master toy line it has developed for Milo.

With new professions, characters, and songs, the third season marks a new chapter in Milo’s evolution and further expands his ever-growing universe, bringing new ways for preschool audiences to connect with the brand both on and off screen.
