• Power Players Debuted on Boing in Spain in July 2020, achieving a Peak Audience of 167,000 viewers

8 de octubre de 2020: ZAG Heroez™ Power Players (78x11’), a groundbreaking 3D animated/live-action hybrid action-comedy for 6-to-11 year old boys, premiered on Boing in Spain on July 13, 2020 and is achieving constant audience growth with  an average audience of 106,000, with a peak of 167,000 viewers. 

Developed by Jeremy Zag and Man of Action (Ben 10, Big Hero 6) and co-produced by ZAG, ON kids & family (Mediawan) and Planeta Junior, Power players follows the adventures of Axel, a boy who transforms into a living action figure, and his unlikely team of toy heroes as they embark on the biggest “small” adventures a kid could ever imagine. Planeta Junior became a co-producer on Power Players following the company’s success as the license holder on previous ZAG and ON kids and family projects including Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The company handles consumer products and content licensing rights for Spain, Portugal, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey, and consumer products rights for France and Italy. 

Power Players is currently available across the globe on Cartoon Network U.S., EMEA, and Asia Pacific, on France Télévisions and Okoo in France, Germany’s KiKa, Ukraine’s PLUSPLUS, Russia’s Karusel, Australia’s Channel 9, Canada’s YVT and Teletoon, Brazil’s Gloob, Discovery Kids Latin America, and Netflix. In Brazil, the series premiered on Gloob as the #1 animated series among kids.

Action figures for Power Players from ZAG Lab (ZAG’s toy division) and Playmates Toys will start rolling out in Europe in the final quarter of 2020, following their U.S. and Brazil debut. The toy collection includes an assortment of highly detailed and articulated 5-inch action figures based on the TV show, as well as 9-inch deluxe action figures that are packed with electronics and sound effects. The line also features a variety of vehicles, allowing kids to send their favorite Power Players on heroic adventures, as well as role play gear which allows kids to transform into Axel, the leader of the Power Players.
